Overview of Foundation in Arts Communication in City University Malaysia

The Foundation in Arts (Communication) programme is tailored to provide students with a direct route into related degree programmes such as mass communication, corporate communication, journalism and applied psychology. The core communication modules integrated in the programme shall equip the students with strong theoretical foundation and improve their communication skills that is essential to develop strong and positive self-
concept in order for them to excel academically and professionally. In addition to that, the programme also aims to strengthen English proficiency among its students with its comprehensive English modules.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

ENTRY REQUIREMNETS

• Passed SPM / SPMV with five (5) credits including English Language subject ; OR
• Passed GCE O-Levels with five (5) credits including English ; OR
• Passed UEC with average grade B in three (3) subjects including English ; OR
• Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government.
