Course Overview

The Bachelor of Computer Science at AIMST University is a rigorous 3.5-year programme designed to equip students with strong theoretical foundations, practical competencies, and exposure to emerging technologies required for a successful career in the global computing industry. Entry Requirements

The minimum entry requirements for this programme include candidates who have completed AIMST Foundation or Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent, or Mathematics with at least one Science subject at SPM level. Applicants with STPM (Science Stream) must obtain a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject, while STPM (Arts Stream) candidates require Grade C in any two subjects together with a credit in Additional Mathematics or equivalent Mathematics and one Science subject at SPM level. A-Level holders must achieve at least Grade C in Mathematics and one Science or ICT subject with a credit in Additional Mathematics or equivalent. UEC candidates are accepted with five Grade B passes, including Mathematics and a Science or ICT subject, or Additional Mathematics. Applicants holding a Diploma in Science and Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and relevant Mathematics and Science background are eligible, as are those with a Diploma in Computing (minimum CGPA 2.00), Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) or Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (minimum CGPA 2.50), and Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM) in computing-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
